Bunker Hill Community College offers a noncredit online Welder Technician course through its workforce and community education partnership with ed2go. The 125-hour, self-paced course provides up to 12 months of access and covers welding safety, MIG, Stick, TIG, fabrication, metallurgy, inspection, rigging, cutting, quality, and related manufacturing topics. Training is delivered online with video-based virtual simulations rather than an on-campus welding shop, and successful students receive a Certificate of Completion.
