Jefferson Community and Technical College offers Welding Technology education through an Associate in Applied Science degree, a Combination Welder diploma, and process-focused certificates. The current KCTCS curriculum combines classroom instruction with practical welding work in cutting, Stick, TIG, MIG, blueprint reading, certification laboratories, and optional advanced topics such as Flux-Core and pipe welding. The Technical Campus is identified as the home of the college's welding program, while the Shelby County Campus also publishes that it offers welding classes.
