Muskegon Community College offers a 62-credit Welding Technology Associate in Applied Science and a 24–26-credit Welding Technology certificate at its Sturrus Technology Center. Students receive practical training in MIG, TIG, Stick and flux-core welding, structural and pipe applications, metal fabrication and welding automation. The Sturrus facility includes a dedicated welding classroom, modern booths, fabrication equipment and robotic welding equipment, and MCC is an AWS Accredited Testing Facility.
