Northeastern Junior College offers a 61-credit Welding Technology associate degree plus certificates in Stick, MIG, TIG, flux-core, oxyfuel and welding fabrication. Most welding courses run in five-week competency-based terms with multiple start dates and full- or part-time pathways. The curriculum covers welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminum; pipe and plate work; fabrication; oxyacetylene welding; oxyfuel and plasma cutting; brazing and soldering; and pulsed MIG and TIG applications. The AAS includes an American Welding Society qualification-testing course.
