Sitting Bull College is a tribal college on the Standing Rock Reservation offering a 37-credit Welding Diploma through its construction-technology division. Official course listings document MIG, Stick, stainless-steel and pipe TIG, oxyacetylene welding and cutting, pipe welding, repair welding, fabrication, theory, and a practicum. The program is designed to help students enter welding work quickly and continue building experience. The Welding Instructor is based in the Building Trades Center, and the college publishes a one-time tools and coveralls charge for welding students.
