Competency-based, hands-on welding training organized around AWS standards rather than NCCER welding curriculum. Students progress through Stick plate, Stick pipe, and unrestricted TIG pipe levels as they demonstrate mastery, with no prerequisite required. Each level includes certification aligned with AWS standards and opportunities to earn industry-recognized welding credentials. Traditional students generally complete the program in four to six semesters; the Southwest center also advertises an accelerated daytime format.
