American Welding Academy, Inc. is a nonprofit workforce-training organization in Englewood, New Jersey. Its short-term welding training is 90% hands-on and begins practical work on day one. The academy teaches Stick, MIG and Flux-Core welding, provides structural and pipe instruction across the program, and combines technical training with job-preparation and placement support. Through an affiliated authorized testing facility, the program prepares participants for the AWS Certified Welder exam and can provide testing and certification at the facility.
