Anne Arundel Community College offers noncredit welding education in partnership with Earlbeck Gases & Technologies. Its entry-level certificate combines a fundamentals course with one intermediate course in Stick, MIG or TIG; on-demand advanced pipe courses and blueprint reading support continued skill development. Training blends classroom instruction and shop practice with modern equipment, and the entry-level path leads to AACC continuing education recognition, an Earlbeck completion certificate and an AWS welder certification. Day and evening classes are offered in Arnold and Baltimore.

This noncredit certificate combines Fundamentals of Welding with one intermediate course in Stick, MIG or TIG. Fundamentals covers equipment, tools, welding symbols, codes, metallurgy, inspection, oxygen-acetylene welding and torch cutting. Students receive classroom and hands-on training, must attend an information session, and complete process-specific exercises intended to build toward an AWS welder certification test. Successful completers receive AACC continuing-education recognition and an Earlbeck certificate of completion.
