This two-year high-school CTE sequence awards six high-school credits per year and offers 12 Vincennes University dual credits in Year 1 and nine in Year 2. Year 1 combines classroom and hands-on training in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, four basic positions and industrial blueprint reading. W.I.R.E.D. combines hands-on MIG, Stick and TIG welding and welding fabrication with CAD, robotics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical drives, mechatronics, PLC programming, industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. It is offered in an AM session, awards six high-school credits per year, and has a second-year option. OSHA 10 certification and 75 work-based-learning hours are available.
