This 1,050-hour Career Certificate combines classroom instruction with practical laboratory training in Stick, MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding. Students also learn flame and plasma cutting, joint fabrication, blueprint reading, layout, welding symbols, equipment setup, electrode selection, safety, and employability skills. Students who demonstrate skill mastery may take an AWS welding certification examination at additional cost.
