The North Baton Rouge Industrial Training Initiative provides qualifying students with accelerated classroom and hands-on welding training plus workplace preparation. The 300-hour welding course covers safety, blueprint reading, metallurgy, weld symbols, oxy-fuel systems, cutting, and basic-bead, fillet and V-groove Stick welding. Welding completers earn NCCER Core and selected welding modules and may complete AWS certification testing after demonstrating mastery.
