This 29-credit, one-year technical diploma provides hands-on training with structural steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals. Students develop welding blueprint-reading, sketching, and layout skills and practice MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, metal-cored arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting, and plasma cutting. The two-semester plan includes safety, six MIG modules, five modules each in Flux-Core, Stick, and TIG, welding certification, and advanced welding techniques.
