Blackhawk Technical College offers a stackable welding pathway at its Beloit-Janesville Campus. Students may begin with short-term embedded diplomas in MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding, continue into the 29-credit Welding Technical Diploma, and advance to the 67-credit Welding Fabrication and Robotics Associate of Applied Science. The pathway combines hands-on welding, cutting, blueprint reading, safety, structural materials, fabrication, weld inspection, CNC cutting and forming, fixturing, metallurgy, and robotic welding. Current program pages publish estimated tuition figures for the one-year diploma and associate degree but not guaranteed total program prices.
