Bladen Community College offers hands-on Welding Technology training at its Dublin campus. The current curriculum includes an Associate in Applied Science, a diploma, and certificates in commercial and industrial welding, core welding processes, and structural welding. Depending on the credential, students study cutting; Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, and TIG welding; plate and pipe work; blueprint reading and welding symbols; metallurgy; fabrication; inspection and testing; industrial safety; and certification practices. Programs combine classroom instruction with extensive shop/lab work and prepare graduates for entry-level welding and metalworking roles.
