This 12-credit certificate prepares students for entry-level welding and related-trades work and for possible continuation into a longer welding program elsewhere. Students complete four three-credit courses: metals and welding or basic gas and arc welding; advanced arc welding; TIG welding or pipe welding for certification; and welding practices for certification.
