Breckinridge County Area Technology Center provides high school students with a Welding Technology career pathway in Harned. The center emphasizes hands-on technical instruction, college-credit opportunities, and industry credentials while students complete their high school diplomas. Kentucky's current Welding Technology pathway framework develops blueprint reading, cutting, fabrication, and entry-level MIG and Stick welding skills through a four-credit course sequence, with additional TIG and pipe options available within the statewide framework when locally scheduled.
