Claim This SchoolCarroll Community College offers a six-month, 120-hour Welder/Advanced Welder workforce certificate sequence through Welding I and Welding II. Students begin with safety, equipment handling, oxy-acetylene cutting, arc welding, MIG, and TIG, then advance to positional welding, weld-quality development, blueprint reading, symbols, specifications, and Flux-Core practice. Training combines augmented-reality welders with hands-on laboratory work and prepares completers for the AWS D1.1 Structural Steel performance qualification. Classes are held at the Carroll County Career and Technology Center in Westminster.
