Central Carolina Community College offers stackable Welding Technology credentials at Lee Main Campus in Sanford: a two-semester certificate, a four-semester diploma, and a five-semester Associate in Applied Science, plus a three-semester Robotics Welding Certificate. Training combines classroom and practical shop work in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, cutting, print reading, fabrication, inspection, metallurgy, and destructive and nondestructive testing as applicable to the selected credential. The campus map places welding labs in Joyner Hall, and the certificate catalog provides both day and evening maps.
