Cerro Coso Community College offers an Associate of Science and two Certificates of Achievement in welding. At Ridgecrest/IWV, students can complete the full Welding Technology pathway covering technical drawings, trade mathematics, shop equipment, oxyacetylene welding, MIG, TIG, Stick, pipe welding and fabrication. The shorter Welding Processes Certificate is also available in Tehachapi and focuses on core welding processes, safe shop practice and entry-level fabrication skills.
