Chattahoochee Valley Community College offers a stackable Welding pathway at its Phenix City campus. Students may earn a 69-credit Applied Technology welding AAS, a 54-credit certificate, or short certificates in GMAW, SMAW and Welding Technology. The competency-based curricula combine classroom theory with hands-on lab work in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, cutting, blueprint reading and carbon-pipe welding.
