Clover Park Technical College offers a five-quarter Welding Technology degree and seven two-quarter welding certificates at its Lakewood campus. Students can pursue broad training or specialize in basic welding, Stick, TIG, pipe, wire-feed, or layout and fabrication work. The competency-based curriculum combines classroom instruction with extensive shop training in welding theory, thermal cutting and gouging, machinery, print reading, metallurgy, testing, MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, plate and pipe positions, fabrication, and certification test preparation. Daytime, afternoon, evening and weekend options are documented, with program starts throughout the year.
