Coastal Alabama Community College offers a 61-credit Welding Technology Associate in Applied Science and five stackable short-term welding certificates. Current curricula combine welding theory with hands-on shop instruction in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG processes, plate and pipe welding, cutting, blueprint reading and workplace preparation. Official program pages identify Atmore, Monroeville, Thomasville and the Academy at the Fairhope Airport as core welding locations, with selected short-term certificates also offered through dual enrollment at Baldwin Preparatory Academy.
