College of Southern Nevada's Welding Technology program offers an Advanced Level Welder Associate of Applied Science, an Entry-Level Welder Certificate of Achievement, and skills certificates in pipe welding, structural welding, weld manufacturing and TIG welding. Students receive classroom and laboratory training in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, along with blueprint reading, code application, cutting, fabrication, structural and pipe work depending on the credential. CSN identifies the program as an American Welding Society SENSE institution and states that graduates can test as AWS Entry Level or Advanced Level welders depending on their pathway.
