The 34-unit Welding Technology Certificate of Achievement prepares students for entry-level welding and fabrication work through individualized, hands-on instruction. Students complete two 15-unit technical blocks selected from metal fabrication, Stick, semiautomatic, TIG, robotic welding or pipe welding, then add metallurgy, nondestructive testing, print reading, inspection, technical mathematics and writing/work-experience coursework. The curriculum is aligned with AWS SENSE and supports industry qualification opportunities.

The Welding Technology AS combines the 34-unit welding major with associate-degree general education. Technical options include metal fabrication, Stick, semiautomatic, TIG, robotic or pipe welding, supported by metallurgy, nondestructive testing, print reading, inspection, mathematics, writing and work experience. The curriculum is aligned with AWS SENSE and prepares students for welding, inspection, fitting and fabrication careers.

This 19.5-unit certificate prepares students for structural steel welding through a three-course Stick sequence plus metallurgy, nondestructive testing, print reading and welding inspection. Students develop welds in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions for construction, maintenance, repair and fabrication work. The accelerated welding sequence can be offered in five-week segments and leads toward AWS SENSE Entry Welder completion.

This 19.5-unit certificate develops advanced TIG welding skills through introductory, intermediate and advanced GTAW courses supported by metallurgy, nondestructive testing, print reading and welding inspection. It prepares students for entry-level work in aerospace, motorsports, petrochemical and general fabrication settings.

This 16.5-unit certificate develops hands-on metal-fabrication skills through project design, CNC press-brake and plasma equipment, manual machining, sheet-metal work, tube bending, forming and welding. Required electives cover metallurgy, nondestructive testing and welding inspection. Completers are prepared for entry-level fabrication work in aerospace, motorsports, petrochemical and general manufacturing settings.

This 19.5-unit certificate develops advanced programming and operating skills for robotic welding automation systems. Students complete introductory through advanced robotic welding courses plus metallurgy, nondestructive testing, print reading and welding inspection. Program outcomes are framed around AWS Robotic Arc Welding standards, and COC is approved to conduct AWS CRAW certification testing.

This 19.5-unit certificate develops advanced semiautomatic welding skills through introductory, intermediate and advanced coursework supported by metallurgy, nondestructive testing, print reading and welding inspection. Training prepares students for entry-level welding and fabrication work in aerospace, motorsports, petrochemical and general fabrication environments.

This 15-unit certificate trains students to lay out, fabricate and weld carbon-steel pipe in 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G positions. Coursework uses Stick, TIG and MIG processes and emphasizes fit-up, metallurgy, codes and acceptance criteria. Welder qualification performance exams under API, ASME and AWS standards are offered.

This 16.5-unit specialization provides introductory through advanced robotic welding automation training plus metallurgy, nondestructive testing and print reading. Students develop programming and operational skills under AWS Robotic Arc Welding standards, and COC is approved to conduct AWS CRAW certification testing.
