Community College of Baltimore County offers an in-person Continuing Education Workforce Certificate in welding through its instructional partnership with Earlbeck Gases and Technologies. Students complete welding fundamentals and an intermediate specialization in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding, with training in equipment setup, safety, metallurgy, welding codes, inspection, symbols, multiple weld positions, and work on different metals. Day and evening formats are available at Earlbeck's Rosedale training facility. Intermediate classes include qualification testing, and CCBC is also constructing a Welding and Trades Center at its Dundalk campus for a planned 2027 launch.
