Danville Area Community College offers stackable Welding and Advanced Welding certificates at its main campus. The foundational certificate develops blueprint-reading, technical-math, structural-welding, manufacturing-welding, and fabrication skills, including MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core work on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The advanced stage adds technical math and concentrated Stick and TIG pipe welding in 2G, 5G, and 6G positions. DACC also delivers the sequence through its two-year afternoon College Express option for eligible high school students.
