Delta Technical College offers a 30-week Welding diploma at Horn Lake and Ridgeland and a 40-week Welding & Pipefitting diploma at Horn Lake. Both programs combine classroom and weld-shop instruction in SMAW, GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, FCAW, safety, blueprint reading, pipe fitting, plate and pipe fabrication, and welding-code concepts. The longer program adds 10 weeks of basic and advanced pipe fitting, rigging, measurement, isometric drawings, and field fabrication.
