A 20-semester-credit certificate completed in two semesters. Students receive practical, hands-on experience in welding equipment, safety, print reading, gas welding and cutting, gas and arc welding, GMAW, SMAW, and career preparation. Official learning outcomes add GTAW on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, fabrication from blueprints, groove and fillet welds, procedure testing, and pipe welding in 2G, 5G, and 6G positions using NCCER industry standards.
