Dodge City Community College

Dodge City Community College offers three Welding Technology pathways: a 20-credit Certificate A, a 35-credit Certificate B and a 60-credit Associate of Applied Science. Students receive extensive hands-on instruction in Stick, MIG, TIG and Flux-Core welding, cutting, blueprint reading, safety, inspection and metal fabrication. The curriculum develops multiple plate-welding positions and structural-code performance, while the associate pathway adds CNC plasma cutting, CAD and broader technical and general-education coursework. The college participates in AWS S.E.N.S.E. and states that welding classes lead toward Level I and Level II industry certifications.
