Dunwoody College of Technology offers a one-year Welding Technology certificate and a two-year Welding & Metal Fabrication Associate of Applied Science. Both are daytime, on-campus programs with extensive shop training in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, and TIG welding, plus oxyacetylene and plasma cutting. The associate degree adds machining, print interpretation, engineering drawing, and larger fabrication projects. Students in either pathway may pursue up to four AWS D1.1 welder certifications.
