A 70-credit, four-semester Associate of Applied Science that combines welding and fabrication with machining and technical drawing. Students practice SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW as well as oxyacetylene and plasma cutting, then apply those skills in fabrication projects. Coursework also covers welding metallurgy, symbols and prints, precision measuring, manual milling and turning, engineering drawing, fabrication methods, and safety. Students may earn up to four AWS D1.1 welder certifications.

A 32-credit, two-semester certificate providing intensive shop training in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW, along with oxyacetylene and plasma cutting. Students learn welding safety, symbols and prints, metallurgy, and fabrication methods in a simulated welding shop. The certificate can transfer into Dunwoody's Welding & Metal Fabrication A.A.S., and students may earn up to four AWS D1.1 welder certifications.
