A 40-hour Workforce Services course introducing Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding. Training covers safety, welding equipment, filler metals, and fillet welds on T-joints in four positions, with weld quality evaluated using current AWS code criteria. The short course is offered in the Golden Triangle, Scooba, and West Point welding labs.
