The 60-credit Associate of Applied Science follows a four-semester degree map combining general education with hands-on welding. Required courses cover Stick, MIG, TIG and Flux-Core welding, thermal cutting, print reading, layout, fabrication, pipe welding and fitting, and welder qualifications. Students train with NC3 LEEPS curriculum and AWS qualification testing, and the degree can transfer into ENMU's Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences or Bachelor of Occupational Education.

This 16-credit, fall-semester Certificate of Employability introduces welding fundamentals, print reading, MIG, Stick and TIG welding, and thermal cutting. Students work with hands-on equipment, progress through demonstrated competencies and complete welding certification testing to appropriate code parameters using NC3 LEEPS curriculum and AWS standards.

This 28-credit Certificate of Employability builds on the Basic COE across fall and spring. The sequence adds advanced Stick and TIG welding, Flux-Core welding, career preparation and deeper fabrication work to foundational MIG, TIG, Stick, cutting and print-reading instruction. Students are assessed to NC3 LEEPS and AWS standards and practice toward code-based welding qualification testing.

This 22-credit Certificate of Employability follows a fall-and-spring sequence in pipe print reading, layout and fabrication, Stick pipe welding, TIG pipe welding, thermal cutting, pipe-welding code and career preparation. Students use hands-on equipment and perform qualification work to NC3 LEEPS, API and ASME standards.
