Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell offers four stackable Welding Technology credentials: a 16-credit Basic Certificate of Employability, 28-credit Advanced Certificate, 22-credit Pipe Certificate and 60-credit Associate of Applied Science. Hands-on curricula cover Stick, MIG, TIG and Flux-Core welding, thermal cutting, print reading, structural and pipe applications, fitting, fabrication and welder qualification. The Basic, Advanced and AAS pathways use NC3 LEEPS curriculum and AWS qualification testing; the Pipe certificate uses API and ASME qualification standards. Students supply their own tools.
