Edgecombe Community College offers stackable Welding Technology credentials at its Tarboro campus: a 67-credit associate degree, a 46-credit diploma, and a 13-credit certificate. The curriculum combines classroom and shop training in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, plate and pipe welding, cutting, fabrication, welding symbols, inspection, and testing.
