Emily Griffith Technical College offers two sequential hands-on welding certificate programs at its Branch Campus in Denver. Welding 1 covers MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding, thermal and oxyfuel cutting, safety, metallurgy, blueprint reading, structural welding, CNC plasma, robotic welding, equipment setup, fabrication tools, and weld inspection and testing. Welding 2 requires Welding 1 and advances into pipe layout, pipe cutting, advanced Flux-Core welding, pipe assembly and fitting, and API- and ASME-position work.
