The 906-hour Skilled Welder program includes 265 theory hours and 641 lab hours across four modules: Introduction to Welding, SMAW Plate, GMAW/FCAW/GMAW-A and GTAW Plate. Students learn OSHA-related safety, blueprint and weld-symbol interpretation, oxy-fuel, plasma and carbon-arc cutting, material preparation and fit-up, and hands-on welding in multiple positions. The program uses job-site simulations and current equipment; graduates test in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and oxy-fuel cutting, and the published cost includes an AWS welding certification fee.
