Everett Community College offers a stackable set of welding and fabrication credentials through its Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Center on the main Everett campus. Current options range from specialized entry-level, TIG, submerged-arc, aerospace, and advanced-manufacturing certificates to 90-credit Associate in Technical Arts degrees. Depending on the credential and electives, students study MIG, TIG, Stick, flux-cored, pipe, aerospace and structural fabrication, blueprint reading and layout, metallurgy, cutting, inspection and nondestructive testing, manufacturing safety, and capstone or work-experience activity. The college also offers a separate online Welder Technician course through its career-training unit.
