This 61-credit hybrid diploma combines safety, applied math, welding drawings and metal-cutting fundamentals with intensive lab practice. Students progress through Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, then apply all four processes to pipe work and use MIG and TIG on aluminum. The program also develops blueprint interpretation, welding-symbol knowledge and evaluation of finished work against drawings and welding-procedure specifications.
