Fresno City College is a public community college in the State Center Community College District. Welding options include the accelerated, not-for-credit State Center Welding Program at the West Fresno Center and academic pathways in multi-process welding, design and fabrication, pipe and structural steel, welding entrepreneurship, and metal fabrication. Current curriculum covers MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Core welding, fabrication, plate and pipe work, print reading, measurement, safety, and career preparation. Academic welding classes use both the West Fresno Center's Advanced Technology Center and the college's main-campus welding labs.
