Garrett College — Career Technology and Training Center (CTTC)

Garrett College offers an eight-month workforce welding program through its Career Technology and Training Center. The integrated sequence covers preparation for welding, Welding One, and Welding Two, with safety, mathematics, print reading, oxyfuel cutting, Stick and MIG welding, and horizontal and vertical plate work. The official program prepares students for an AWS horizontal and vertical certification test and provides an opportunity to earn an AWS D1.1 welder performance qualification.
