Gateway Technical College is a public member of the Wisconsin Technical College System serving southeastern Wisconsin. Its welding pathway includes a 16-credit Welding/Maintenance & Fabrication technical diploma and a 43-credit Welding technical diploma. Students receive hands-on instruction in individual welding booths, print reading, layout, fabrication, thermal cutting and multiple arc-welding processes. Both credentials are offered at Elkhorn and Racine, with day and evening classes and some introductory weekend options.
