Georgia Trade School

Georgia Trade School is a private welding school in Acworth offering one Structural Plate and Pipe Welding program. Students receive classroom and lab instruction in Stick, MIG, flux-cored and TIG welding, plate and pipe positions, torch cutting, fabrication, blueprint and shop-drawing interpretation, welding symbols, measurements, machine operation and maintenance, safety, job-search preparation and resume writing. The program is available in a 16-week full-time morning format or 24-week part-time afternoon or evening formats, with classes beginning monthly. Students can complete AWS- and ASME-code qualification tests and receive a school Certification of Completion plus records for qualifications earned.
