About Guilford Technical Community College (school-wide)
Guilford Technical Community College is a comprehensive public two-year college in North Carolina. Welding Technology is taught at the Center for Advanced Manufacturing on the Jamestown Campus through diploma and certificate pathways, with substantial shop practice in plate and pipe welding, fabrication, blueprint and symbol interpretation, inspection, testing, and qualification-oriented performance work. GTCC also offers a two-part workforce MIG pathway with 191 hours of training and an opportunity to earn AWS SENSE Level I Entry Welder certification.
