The diploma combines classroom instruction and hands-on training in welding theory, MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Core processes, metals, electrodes and filler materials. Students practice safety, follow sketches, blueprints and specifications, prepare joints and filler work, and lay out, fit and fabricate metal components for structural assemblies.
