This four-semester, hands-on AAS introduces welding fabrication, pipe and structural welding, aluminum welding, blueprint reading and qualification-test preparation. Students use industry-relevant tools and facilities and can test for AWS and API qualification or certification after the first and second years. The second year expands the one-year welding foundation with fabrication, pipe and structural work.
