Highlands College of Montana Tech is a public two-year technical college in Butte. Its face-to-face Welding Technology pathway combines shop-based instruction, blueprint reading, qualification-test preparation and multiple welding methods. Students may exit after two semesters with a Certificate of Applied Science or continue through four semesters for the AAS, adding fabrication, pipe, structural and aluminum welding experience.
