Illinois Valley Community College offers production- and construction-focused welding pathways at its Oglesby campus. Students can complete AAS degrees or stackable certificates in MIG, TIG, Stick, and oxy-acetylene welding. Curriculum combines process practice, cutting, blueprint reading, metallurgy, inspection, fabrication, pipe welding, rigging, and internship work where applicable. IVCC operates a 17-booth welding lab and is an AWS Accredited Testing Facility that prepares and tests students for AWS certifications.
