This 16-credit certificate prepares students for entry-level welding and fabrication work through a two-semester sequence. Coursework covers OSHA-10 safety, mechanical and thermal cutting, MIG, Stick and TIG welding, and welding blueprint reading. Students practice visual and destructive weld testing, interpret welding theory and symbols, and develop fabrication and employability skills aimed at passing employer hire-on weld tests.
