The Welding Technology diploma develops fundamental welding techniques in the first semester and more advanced skills in the second. Official program information also identifies metallurgy, fabrication, layout, estimating, and repair as related subjects. The 2025 program equipment list documents hands-on MIG, TIG, and Stick equipment, including MIG/TIG gloves, SMAW gloves, tungsten, a welding helmet, grinder, measuring tools, and other shop items supplied through course fees; students purchase work boots and clothing separately.
