Madison College offers hands-on technical diplomas in welding and metal fabrication plus a one-semester embedded GMAW diploma. Training includes welding safety, engineering drawings, metallurgy, cutting, SMAW/stick, GMAW/MIG, FCAW/flux-core, GTAW/TIG, pipe welding, fabrication, layout and production work. Current welding instruction is available at Truax, Fort Atkinson and Portage, with program-specific campus availability.
