Martin Community College offers welding pathways for students seeking short-term workforce training, certificates, a diploma or an associate degree. Credit coursework combines shop practice with welding science and covers MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Core welding, oxyfuel and plasma cutting, basic oxyfuel welding, brazing, soldering and fabrication. Supporting topics include print reading, metallurgy, inspection, destructive and nondestructive testing, safety and work-based learning.
