A 19-unit competency-based certificate covering stick, MIG, flux-core and TIG welding; structural work; fabrication; oxyacetylene, plasma and air-carbon-arc cutting; print interpretation; and equipment operation. The advanced arc course is designed to prepare students for a limited-thickness structural AWS qualification test.
