Meridian Technology Center offers a 600-hour Structural Welder career major at its Main Campus in Stillwater. Students build practical skills through plate welding, groove and fillet welds, equipment setup and project work such as smoker grills and mobile welding beds. Required technical coursework documents Stick, MIG and Flux-Core welding, while supporting instruction covers safety, welding blueprints, detail drawings and workforce staging. Meridian also publishes customized industrial training in TIG and robotic welding for employers, but those offerings are not represented as separate student credentials.
